As you may or may not be aware Toray Pines are holding a “Lets talk about Dementia” event on the on the 25th July at 13:30.
Whether you work within the Care Industry or have a loved one with this awful disease, we believe the information you will receive will be invaluable, & we would love your support in making this a successful event.
The event will include a talk by Ian Donaghy at the local village hall, & then we will be heading back to Toray Pines, where Ian will be doing a book signing, & we are also in the process of having some tables set up with various support networks, where you will be able to find out further information around Alzheimer’s & Dementia.

Big Ian is more than a speaker, he is also a doer. He works tirelessly to raise dementia awareness and combat loneliness, always focusing on the individual drawing on his experience of 20 years teaching young people with learning difficulties, and nearly 10 years in the world of care.
Experienced in addressing and hosting conferences across the UK and Europe, Big Ian speaks with an infectious enthusiasm that is simultaneously entertaining and thought-provoking making audiences laugh and cry in equal measure.
