MCA & Dols Awareness Training We are pleased to bring you a 1 day training course, that is essential for all senior and lead staff involved in care, treatment and support of adults who may lack capacity to make decisions for themselves, to consent or refuse, that can have an impact on the way care and treatment is delivered for them, now and in the future. After training you and your staff will have refreshed your knowledge and develop a good understanding of the key principles of MCA & DOLs and the legal framework, helping you feel confident in your responsibilities and duties under the MCAct 2005. The training will include how to follow processes correctly, and fill out documentation, whilst also fulfilling CQC criteria and LCC requirements. The goal is to ensure that the people in your care who may lack Mental Capacity, and are considered vulnerable, are not only protected, but empowered and represented as individuals with unique needs, who can and should be supported to make their own decisions wherever possible. and that any decisions made on their behalf, are truly in their best interest and welfare, in line with your Duty of Care to them.
MCA Awareness Training. This 1 day training is to help staff involved in care, treatment and support of adults who may lack capacity to make decisions, develop an understanding, or refresh their knowledge, of the responsibilities and duties under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA). Ensuring the person in receipt of care who lacks Mental Capacity is protected and empowered in line with CQC, local authority requirements and legislation. £35 per person Dates 25th September 2024 - Boston
